Around Reading, good coaches book up before each season, so ask about waiting lists and package rates rather than single lessons. Group clinics are the cheapest way for an adult beginner to get regular court time and a set of practice partners, and many programs across Pennsylvania sort players by NTRP level so matches stay competitive. League sign-ups happen a few weeks before each season through a club or a local USTA captain. Camps and junior academies usually require a short evaluation first; ask about scholarship or sliding-scale spots, which many non-profit tennis associations offer.

Reading is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Reading is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Pennsylvania's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Beautiful ballpark. Been going up to see AA Reading Phillies since I was a kid. Went to an open Philadelphia Phillies try out on that field when I was a young adult. Saturday August 8th 2026 I had the opportunity to perform and entertain with the Boomball crew at the stadium. Quite a memorable night of my life.

Classic old ballpark so much history displayed on the walls. You could walk around for hours without even watching a game! Concessions are your basic fare with some nice twists. Plenty of staff available and ready to help. Lots of mascots! Great team store! We went on a night with Peanuts jerseys, Dickie Noles bobblehead giveaway AND Dickie Noles and Milt Thompson signing autographs, AND fireworks! It was a great night! What minor league baseball is supposed to be about!

Great place to catch a minor league game, very clean, staff was very friendly. There is so much fun history to read about all over the concourse. Prices were very reasonable. Don't come here expecting a good dinner....snacky food is good, but the main food was not great, hamburger, grilled chicken sandwich. The only condiments are ketchup, mustard, relish. No lettuce or onion. Old bay French fries were loaded with to much seasoning. Overall great place to visit.

This stadium is a great local place to catch a game. The staff is friendly, food is great, and the overall atmosphere is amazing. They have an array of entertainment from the mascots to the local musicians to entertain you before and after the game.
